Then I got the "womens" version in white with the split sole (I like softer shoes and weigh 71kg) in size 41. The Katana Lace is a narrow shoe for me, narrower than Miura Lace and Katana Velcro. So the new ones are almost 1,5 cm longer as my old ones, both in size 41,5. As many climbers now know, the new Katanas are sized differently due to the newly designed heel cup. The first pair I bought were the "mens" version in yellow in 41,5. From what I could tell in the store it seemed stiffer than the older velcro version. I'm wondering if the new lace up katana is stiffer and better for edging and long routes like the Muira. The overall fit of the shoe provides stability throughout the shoe that.
